TERMS & CONDITIONS

We are a retail specific company and as such adhere to all UK consumer laws including the distance selling regulations. We are happy to offer exchanges or refunds where appropriate. Please note that none of our terms will affect your statutory rights, any changes to our terms will be listed on this page. .

We update our stock information on a daily basis. In the rare event of a product being unavailable we'll let you know and give you an expected date for when the item will come back into stock, if one is available to us. At this point we can also cancel your order should you so wish. By using our site and ordering through this system you understand these terms and conditions and accept them without reservation. .

We endeavor to deliver your product(s) to you within the stated 5 to 7 working day period, however sometimes this may take longer. If this is the case someone from our team will do the upmost contact you, unless the delay is due to circumstances beyond control. .

Product Information

Our site is updated frequently with information about our product range as soon as it becomes available to us, however, the possibility does exist that we may have inaccurate information at some point. In this case we cannot except responsibility for genuine error on our part, if you notice any errors please inform us and we will rectify them as soon as we can. We reserve the right to cancel an order if it occurs due to an error in product details, we will also provide a refund to our customers if an item received is not as advertised, so long as it is returned to us unused. .

Warranty Information

Where an item is purchased from us consisting of a number of components it is considered to the sum of those parts, as oppose to a single item. The result of this is that these items are not necessarily all subject to the same warranty conditions, for this reason if a problem develops that cannot be rectified the decision as to whether an item is covered by warranty will be made by the individual supplier of that product. Please note that warranties only cover manufacturing flaws and will not cover any damage sustained during appropriate use. Incidentally most manufacturers do not consider racing as falling under this heading.

All the products we sell are subject to numerous checks during the process of manufacturing them, there are however a number of items that will need to be maintained to ensure that they are effective for long-term use. For this reason knowledge of Bicycle maintenance is important and performing frequent checks is the best way of getting the best performance from your equipment. It is worth noting that some products such as Derailleurs and those containing bearings will benefit from bedding in period, if you have any concerns please contact us and we will do our best to give you appropriate advice. .

It is important that you read through any warranty information that comes with your product, this will inform you as to the exact nature and length of time for which your product is covered. If no warranty is included then this information will be available from the manufacturers’ website. .

Payment

We will only take payment from you when he have been able to confirm that your order is available for dispatch, we accept most major credit cards and always encrypt any information that we hold during your order. All payments will be charge in GBP Sterling. Part of our security process is checking the registered address for your bank account, if there are any discrepancies apparent to us during this process we may hold your order until we receive the correct details. Any personal information you provide us with will be held in a secure manner and is never shared with any external body, the information we require normally includes your email, landline telephone number billing address and delivery address. We will store your email address only for internal use, if you do not wish for us to keep you informed of any offers or promotions we are running you can opt out of this service. .

In some rare occasions we may ask you for a small deposit if we are sourcing a high value product for you from one of our suppliers, in the unlikely event that this product becomes unavailable we will contact you. At this point we can source you an alternative product or issue a full refund of your deposit and cancel the order. We regret that we cannot be held responsible for any 3rd party errors or omissions. .

In accordance with our security procedures we take Credit Card processing very seriously, we use Secure Sockets Layer encryption technology and will never store credit card information once an order has been completed. .

Cancellations

Any order can be cancelled if the customer informs us in proper time, if this is before a charge has been made there will be no cost to the customer for this. If the cancellation is requested after the order has been processed then the customer may be subjected to a restocking fee of £5. In the unlikely event that a product is not available at the time of purchase then a full refund will be available to the customer. .

Returning Goods

Please contact us BEFORE returning any items via phone or email . In order to return goods you must complete a returns form.

If there is a problem with any of your items you have 7 days from receipt of goods to return the product in question to us. Initially we are not required to pay for return postage, however, if the item is deemed to be faulty we will both refund the postage and send out a new item at no charge. For this reason it is of upmost importance that you package the item as best you can to minimize the potential for damage In transit. If it is practical to do so we may ask you to take a digital photograph of the fault in question and email it to us, in fact it is sometimes the case that this is all we may require. .

If the item which is being returned is one that is broken please be sure to return the whole item not just the broken part, it is also imperative that the returned item is clean and ready for inspection. .

Exchanges

If a product needs to be exchanged we pride ourselves on being able to recommend a suitable replacement, you can expect us to be able to ascertain whether an exchange is possible and to also be able to suggest an item of equivalent quality and price. .

Postage

When returning an item to us we recommend using Royal Mail Recorded delivery, in situations where we have agreed to refund your postage we cannot be expected to cover charges for couriering or using an express service. .

Postage Refund

As mentioned in our returns policy we don’t initially cover the cost of sending an item back to us, when it is due to a manufacturing defect we will reimburse you however when the reason for exchanging an item is personal choice then we are not responsible for this cost. .

VAT

All our prices include VAT (where applicable) at the standard UK rate, this is irrespective of where they are to be shipped. If you have purchased our products from outside the UK and wish to claim back any VAT you have paid please download form VAT65A from the HMRC website.

Cookies

A cookie is a piece of text stored by your computers web browsing software, our site uses them to remember how you have previously used our site, we do this to make your shopping experience as pleasurable as possible. .

Vouchers

Any vouchers offered are done so at our discretion, they may be withdrawn at any time and without prior notice. Unless stated otherwise they are all only redeemable once. .
